Situated on the second floor of the former shop “Les Vivres de la Marine”, now a listed building, the restaurant VIVRE(S) and its glass-clad winter garden overlook the marina and the Charente river. Its menu features a tasty blend of carefully selected local produce from responsible producers. The dishes are cooked exclusively on charcoal ” It is for me a child’s dream come true (explains Grégory COUTANCEAU). I have always been inspired by charcoal cooking. With this new address, I wanted to give priority to a real return to my roots by offering flame cooking where seafood, meat and vegetables are cooked side by side on the grill… ». On the roof terrace, a roof-top with an unobstructed view has been designed for enjoying gourmet breaks or a drink during the day.

Set in vaulted cellars, a wine bar with a wine list featuring wines produced using biodynamic methods, offers a real walk through the French vineyards. A tapas menu is also available for a snack from 5.30 pm to 2.00 am.
