Within easy reach of the seaside resort of Royan, or the interesting towns of Cognac, Saintes, and Saint-Jean-d’Angely with a huge pool resort. You can taste the local apéritif ’Pineau’ at the market and delicious farm products as well as mussels from the island of Oléron, and fresh melons from the Charente region.
