With its pretty wooden terrace on the sand, La Retenue is a bar-restaurant that can be enjoyed at any time of day, especially at sunset, with its magical view of Fort Boyard! With their young and dynamic team, Borany and Cochise, a couple in town, welcome you for lunch and dinner (mornings only in July and August).

On the menu, a very short seasonal menu featuring local and sourced products, enlivened by Asian-influenced seasonings. Fish or beef tartar, jonchée worked like a burrata, Japanese bowl with bottarga, oysters, mussels in a tom yam broth..;

For the thirsty? Cocktails that smell like holidays and carefully chosen wines. From May to October, you can enjoy a coffee, a tasty beverage or a fresh and colourful plate, while young children will find the Grande Plage a vast playground!
