An experience around the art of food and wine pairing: a unique moment with an initiation to cognac «food pairing» with a chef and a sommelier in Oléron Islands.
This is the perfect opportunity to dive into the unique and unforgettable world of food and spirits.
The briny air and seafood are the perfect accompaniment to the fruity and spicy aromas of 2 Charentes Cognac.
Visit the oyster farm and have lunch in a typical Charente Maritime oyster-farmer’s cabin.
If the weather is clement, the visitor even take a typical flat-bottomed oyster boat between the two destinations. A beautiful moment, to cherish and remember.
On the agenda
- A one-hour visit to the Geay oyster farm;
- A crossing from the oyster farm to the cabin in a Chalan depending on the tides (we use a flat-bottomed oyster boat to travel between the two destinations);
- A Cognac and Oyster + Seafood masterclass at the cabin;
- A sit-down lunch with Cognac pairing (three courses);
- A drive back.
