Romanesque abbey dating from the end of the 11th century.

On the agenda

Listed historical monument on 24th August 1948. Exceptional site due to its secluded location.
The transept and choir were partially destroyed during the 100 Years’ War, while the convent buildings were burnt down during the Wars of Religion in 1562.
The community of Augustinian monks then began to decline.
The abbey was sold as a national asset in 1795, and then converted into an earthenware factory until 1825.
The abbey is undergoing major restorations designed to safeguard and restore it. embellish it.
