On the edge of the Périgord region and near Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, listed among the most beautiful villages in France, this cottage is located in a peaceful setting. Only the presence of wildlife will disturb the tranquility of this place.

You’ll appreciate the spaciousness of this large house and the charm of its exposed timber framing and local stonework, not to mention the harmonious and tasteful decor featuring local and personalized items.
This typical South Charente house, with its rubble, is detached. The owners live on the property but are not overlooked by the gîte.

A large entrance hall leads to a shower room with toilet, a staircase, and the living room with a projection screen. The dining room includes a fully equipped kitchen, a pantry/linen room, another shower room, and a second (steep) staircase. A wood-burning stove is featured in the living room.
Upstairs: two low-ceilinged bedrooms, each for one person, three bedrooms each with two 90x200cm beds that can be combined into 180x200cm beds, and a sixth bedroom with two 90x200cm beds that can be combined and one 90x200cm bed. Two toilets with sinks. Linen sheets made in France.
Fiber optic internet access: Orange Wi-Fi hotspots.
Baby equipment: crib, playpen, and high chair.
Outdoors: 43m² terrace with garden furniture and a plancha grill, 200m² winter garden, 300m² terraces around the pool, 3 hectares of land with a river at the end of the field. Private 12x6m swimming pool (1.80m deep) with a safety fence and cover, open from May 15 to October 15. Ping-pong, car garage in a barn with 2 electric charging stations (included in the price).
