Guided tour of cooperage Allarr

Come and discover the art of cooperage and the respect of tradition and the best workers of France (1986, 1994, 1997, and 2004).

The tour begins with a film providing an introduction to the cooper’s craft.
The guide then takes you to the wood yard, where the staves are matured.
You are then immersed in the heart of the workshop with the coopers. You’ll see how a barrel is
of barrel production, from stave selection and toasting to finishing.

Two types of tour are available when you book your visit:
– TRADITION tour
– PRESTIGE tour

Depending on the tour you choose (large containers, traditional cooperage, art cooperage), you’ll discover several workshops and learn more about the complexity of oak.

All year round on Thursday between 10 am and 12 pm and between 2.15 pm and 4.30 pm.
except on January 1st, Easter Monday, Feast of the Ascension, Whit Monday, May 1st, May 8th, July 14th, August 15th, November 1st, November 11th and December 25th.
